Woman reports rape
YOUNGSTOWN -- An 18-year-old Austintown woman told city police over the weekend that two men raped her June 3.
She said two men approached her about 11 p.m. that day in a parking lot at Market Street and Midlothian Boulevard. She told police she agreed to smoke marijuana with them in their car, and that they said they would stay in the parking lot.
The woman told police the men then drove north on Market Street, pulled onto a side street and into a driveway. She said the men took turns raping her and later returned her to the parking lot where they met.
The woman told police she was afraid to report it until a week later.
