FESTIVALS
XThe 14th annual American Folkways Festival in Clintonville, Venango County, Pa., on June 26 and 27 and Sept. 4, 5 and 6 will offer a wide array of artisans and crafters, food, exhibits, demonstrations and entertainment. The event is held in a wooded setting and is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. To get there, take Exit 35 (old exit 4) off Interstate 80 and follow the signs.
FUND-RAISERS
XCanfield Historical Society will hold a Charity High Tea June 27 at The Bond House, 44 W. Main St., Canfield. The cost will be $10, and seating times will be noon, 2 p.m. and 4. Reservations are required and may be made by calling (330) 533-3659. Parking is available at Canfield Public Library. Proceeds benefit Canfield schools and the library.
XThe Hispanic/American Relay For Life will be held June 25 and 26 at Roosevelt Park, Sycamore Drive, Campbell. Featured during the event will be such things as a cancer survivor lap, band and disc jockey music, contests, a scavenger hunt, sack races, volley ball, and special ceremonies. XSCOPE Howland Senior Center, 8273 High St. N.E., Warren, is accepting clean and useable items for its garage sale planned from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 10 at the center. Donations may be dropped off at the center from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays. No clothing will be accepted. Call (330) 609-7806
XWarren Harley Owners Group will sponsor an "Observation Run" Sunday from the American Legion Hall in Southington. Signup will be from 10 a.m. to noon, and there will be a charge of $5 per person.
