Phillies 2, Twins 1
MINNEAPOLIS -- Cristian Guzman's errant throw on a potential double-play grounder in the eighth inning allowed Placido Polanco to score the go-ahead run for Philadelphia. Rheal Cormier (3-3) pitched a scoreless seventh for the win, and Billy Wagner worked the ninth for his ninth save.
