Youngstown Links chapter seats 2004-06 officers

YOUNGSTOWN -- The installation of officers who will lead Links Inc., Youngstown Chapter, during the coming season was a highlight of a meeting held May 23 at the Youngstown Country Club.
Inducted were Mary Patterson, who was re-elected to the office of president for the 2004-2006 term. Her associate officers will be Anne Cobbin, vice president; Vicki Doe, treasurer; Yvonne Mathis, financial secretary; Janice Beachum, secretary; and Krishmu Shipmon, corresponding secretary.
Serving as committee and project chairmen will be Doe, budget and finance and Walk-a-Thon; Brenda Martin, by-laws; Shipmon and Juanita Davis, hospitality; Sherri Lovelace-Cameron, membership; Anne Cobbin, programming; Beachum and Davis, public relations; Virginia Banks-Bright, nominating; Germaine Bennett, scholarship; Margaret Person, social; Gisele Washington, ways and means/fundraising; Lenora Hill, the arts; Person, National trends; Sarah Brown-Clark, international trends; and Sandra Johnson-Prater, services to youth.
Joanne Blunt and Davis conducted the installation, and Beverly Atwater was the hostess.
The Links chapter was chartered in 1955 and continues to provide services in the areas of arts, cultural and entertaining programming, education and health care, health and fitness, and services to youth. A gift-giving luncheon will be held in December.
