Miss Thompson, to be bride of Mr. Maddock

XBOARDMAN -- The engagement of Suzanne L. Thompson, 28063 Keepsake Way, Valencia, Calif., and Robert Maddock, also of the Keepsake Way address, is being announced by parents of the bride-elect, Vicki and Rick Thompson, 118 Stoney Creek Court.
Parents of the future groom are Judy and Richard Maddock, 8627 Grantwood Trail Court, St. Louis, Mo.
An open wedding is planned by the couple for 4:30 p.m. Aug. 27 at Boardman United Methodist Church. Invitations will be extended for an evening reception to be held at Salem Golf Club, Salem.
Miss Thompson graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in physics and astronomy. She is pursuing a master's degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Kansas, and is employed at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, Calif.
Mr. Maddock graduated from Parks College of St. Louis University with a bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering. He earned a master's degree in aerospace engineering from the Tennessee Space Institute, and also is employed at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
