Guild holds flower show and dinner

CANFIELD -- "Celebrating 40 Years of Friends and Flowers" was the theme chosen by St. Michael Garden Guild of St. Michael Church for an annual flower show and dinner held May 26 at the parish center.
Best in Show awards went to Liz Rehlinger for arrangements, and to Cookie Beeman for horticulture exhibits.
Recipients of blue ribbons for arrangements were: Rehlinger, Silvestri, Ruth Molvin, Ann Sims, Pat Hoyle, Linda Dercoli, Trudy Defino, Beeman, and Dorothy Belish.
Horticulture blue ribbons went to Defino, Hoyle, Rehlinger, Angela Behan, Geri Tomko, Dercoli, Belish, Molvin, Anita Gorman, and Sharon Mangapora.
Mary Ann Silvestri presided at the event, and entries were judged by Elsie DeHoff. Tomko served as the clerk, Hoyle and Rehlinger assisted with arrangements, and Behan was in charge of horticulture. Hostesses were Silvestri, Hoyle, Behan, Rehlinger, and Peg Davis.
