Garrod-Schantz engagement is made known

XEAST PALESTINE -- Garry and Becky Garrod, 48951 Hamilton Road, are announcing the coming marriage of their daughter, Jody Garrod of the same address, to Mark Schantz, 4329 Euclid Blvd., Youngstown. Mr. Schantz is a son of David Schantz, 71 Beechwood Drive, Boardman, and the late Carol Schantz.
Invitations will be extended for the couple's wedding to take place at 4:30 p.m. July 17 at New Waterford United Methodist Church and for at reception to follow at the Salem Golf Club.
Miss Garrod is employed as a student attendant at the Columbiana County Educational Service Center in Columbiana.
Her fiance holds a bachelor's degree in speech pathology audiology and a master's in speech language pathology, both from Kent State University. He is a speech pathologist at the Columbiana County Educational Service Center.
