73rd anniversary of the Cappittes marked at dinner

XYOUNGSTOWN -- A family dinner was held June 5 at Scarsella Restaurant in Boardman in honor of Mr. and Mrs. James Cappitte, 4076 Baymar Drive on the occasion of their 73rd wedding anniversary.
Hosting the event were their children and their spouses, James Jr. and Joyce Cappitte, Joseph Cappitte and Norman and Sandy Cappitte, all of Youngstown; Donald and Nancy Cappitte of Boardman; Theresa Arnold and Marian Cappitte of Austintown; Barbara and Chuck Colantone of Canfield; and Elaine and Jamie Heras of Cleveland.
The former Sally Williams and Mr. Cappitte were married June 6, 1931, at St. Patrick Church.
Retiring in 1971, Mr. Cappitte was a painter with the Youngstown Street Department.
The couple also ran the Mom and Pop stand at the Pyatt Street and Austintown flea markets.
The family circle also includes 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
