XMcDonald Midget Football Association will meet at 7 p.m. Sunday in the senior citizens room, post office building.
AUXILIARIES
XSt. Elizabeth Health Center Auxiliary will meet at noon Monday at the private dining room. Ray Carroll, master gardener, will speak on "Roses for the Kitchen Table."
CLUBS
XCasa Savoia Club will end the season during a meeting at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at The Grandview in Canfield. Hostesses will be Yole Conti, Clara Merlo, Grace Wardle, and Carmel Holecko. A picnic will be held July 21 at Boardman Township Park.
XChapter CE, PEO Sisterhood, will have lunch and a meeting at noon Wednesday at Canfield Presbyterian Church. Hostesses will be Dorothy Demen and Laura Reed. The program will be the Ohio state convention reports.
XCoitsville-Campbell Homemakers will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sycamore Place for a picnic. Member should take table service and casseroles.
XSt. Rose Church Quilters will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the parish hall kitchen.
XStruthers K. of C. Ladies will meet at 6 p.m. Monday at Struthers Manor for a bingo game with residents. Hostesses will be Martha Sarna, Marsha Ambrozy and Betty Zebrowski. Members are asked to provide five bingo gifts.
XTrumbull County Farm Bureau Council will meet at 8 p.m. today for the annual strawberry festival at Cortland High School.
XYoungstown Council of Catholic Nurses will meet from 5 to 9:30 p.m. Wednesday at Boardman Township Park's Elton Beard indoor pavilion. There will be a picnic.

XMcDonald Knights of Columbus will meet at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the K of C Hall, Illinois Ave.
XSt. Rose Church Catholic Women's Club invites women of the parish to join the group as new members. There will be a picnic at Tod Park on Monday at 6 p.m. and new membrs are invited to join. The group meets at 7:30 p.m. in the parish house dining room the second Monday of every month from September through June. Those who plan to attend the picnic should call the parish house and leave their name.
SERVICE CLUBS
XGirard-Liberty Kiwanis will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Scenna's Family Restaurant, 1901 N. State St.

SINGLES
XD.A.R.E., a social group for divorced, widowed or separated people, will meet at 7:30 today for miniature golf at the Dome in Girard. Bowling will be at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Boardman Lanes. Dance lessons with Judy Conti will be at 7 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at a cost of $5. A walk in Mill Creek Park is set for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday on the hiking trail and participants should meet at parking lot. Wednesday activities will be short holes golf will be at 6:30 p.m. at Mill Creek Park or bicycling on the bike trail on Kirk Road. A meeting is planned at 7:30 p.m. Thursday with a strawberry social. XMahoning Valley Historical Society will begin the celebration of its 129th anniversary Tuesday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Hors d'oeuvres and cocktails will be served at 5:30 p.m. and there will be guided tours of the church and memorial gardens. An Italian buffet dinner will be served at 7, and the business meeting will be at 8. The cost is $32 for members and $37 for guests. Reservations are required today.
