BOARDMAN
June 2
Theft: A man in the 4200 block of Hillman Way reported a $280 face plate, a compact disc and $100 stolen from his car.
Criminal damage/theft: A woman in the 5500 block of Aravesta Avenue reported seeing three people in the area while her vehicle's driver's-side door lock was damaged and a $350 AM-FM/CD stereo was removed from her car.
Arrest: Police arrested a 33-year-old Youngstown man at his home in the 70 block of Midlothian Boulevard on two warrants charging him with failure to appear in court on one count each of having an open container of alcohol and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Criminal damage: A man in the 7400 block of West Boulevard discovered his van's sliding-door window had been damaged while the vehicle was in a carport. Damage was estimated at $300.
Criminal damage: A woman in the 5500 block of Aravesta Avenue reported one tire each was flattened on her vehicle and her boyfriend's vehicle.
Theft: A handicap placard was stolen from a car parked at Chili's Grill & amp; Bar, 7403 Market St.
Theft: Police arrested a 24-year-old Aliquippa, Pa., woman on a theft charge after a $20 T-shirt, a $25 shirt and a $10 blue jean shirt were stolen from Value City Department Store, 1130 Boardman-Poland Road. The suspect also was charged with obstructing official business.
Theft: An employee at Afterthoughts in the Southern Park Mall told police someone stole $320 and her Ohio driver's license.
June 3
Theft: Police arrested a 23-year-old Kent man at a rest stop off Interstate 76 on a warrant charging him with theft. An employee at Radio Shack, 7131 Tiffany Blvd., reported a $210, 17-inch computer monitor stolen.
Burglary: Police arrested three Boardman boys, 12, 14 and 16, on burglary charges and another Boardman boy, 12, on a charge of criminal trespass. A woman in the 800 block of Larkridge Drive reported someone broke into her residence through a side door, and that $200 worth of personal items and two bottles of wine had been stolen.
Criminal damage: An employee at the Bull & amp; Bear Tavern, 1247 Boardman-Poland Road, noticed a wooden bathroom cabinet door had been damaged. Damage was about $100.
Arrest: After investigating a vehicular accident at the dead-end of Country Club Drive, police arrested a 21-year-old Boardman woman at Forum Health Beeghly Medical Center, 6505 Market St. She was charged with disorderly conduct, endangering children, obstructing official business and operating a vehicle while under the influence.
Theft: After a theft at Wal-Mart, 1300 Doral Drive, police charged a 19-year-old Youngstown man with theft and possession of criminal tools.
Theft: Police arrested a Diamond, Ohio, girl and a Lake Milton girl, both 16, on theft charges after $56 worth of clothing was stolen from the J.C. Penney store in the Southern Park Mall.
Theft: A Struthers woman discovered her wallet containing $80 missing while she was at Giant Eagle, 1201 Doral Drive.
Theft: A 45-year-old Eastlake, Ohio, man faced a theft charge after a shoplifting merchandise at a BP gas station, 1090 Boardman-Poland Road.
Theft: A Salem woman reported a $450 CD case containing 30 CDs and a $75 AM-FM in-dash CD stereo stolen from her vehicle parked at Cinema South Inc., 7420 South Ave.
June 4
Arrest: A 33-year-old Youngstown man was arrested at the Mahoning County Jail on two felony warrants charging him with one count each of forgery and receiving stolen property. Youngstown police recovered a stolen $650 Sky Bank check that had been cashed in Boardman Township.
Theft: An 18-year-old Youngstown woman was charged with theft after a $10 skirt, a bra and an undergarment were stolen from Wal-Mart.
Arrest: After her vehicle was pulled over near Indianola Road and Southern Boulevard, a Youngstown woman, 20, was arrested on a warrant charging her with failure to appear in court on a disorderly-conduct charge.
Arrest: After conducting a traffic stop in the Triumph Auto Glass parking lot, 5332 Market St., police arrested a 44-year-old Boardman man on charges of aggravated menacing, disorderly conduct, obstructing official business and operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. Police alleged the suspect spit at officers and threatened them several times.
Arrest: Police arrested a 32-year-old Youngstown man on a warrant from Boardman in Austintown. The warrant charged him with theft after a $60 pair of tennis shoes was stolen from Value City Department Store.
Theft: Police arrested a 17-year-old Youngstown girl on a theft charge after a pair of blue jeans, a pair of shorts, a skirt, two shirts and a purse were stolen from the J.C. Penney store. A Cleveland girl, also 17, was charged with complicity to theft.
Theft: A man in the 400 block of Rockdale Avenue reported a $120, 20-inch bicycle stolen from his apartment's front porch.
Theft/criminal damage: A woman discovered someone did about $50 in damage to a metal lock box and stole $2 to $4 from St. Charles Church, 7345 Westview Drive.
Theft: A man in the 3900 block of Windsor Road discovered $20 and various papers missing from his vehicle.
Theft: A Poland woman reported $300, her checkbook, an Ohio driver's license, a credit card, a Social Security card and a wallet had been removed from her car parked at Club South Health & amp; Fitness Center, 7120 Tiffany Blvd.
June 5
Arrest: Police arrested a 26-year-old Struthers man staying at the Red Roof Inn, 1051 Tiffany Blvd., on warrants charging him with three counts each of theft, obstructing official business and falsification.
Criminal damage/criminal trespass: A woman in the 4000 block of Sylvia Lane noticed someone had kicked in a side garage door at a vacant residence in her neighborhood.
Breaking and entering: A man in the 50 block of Meadowbrook Avenue reported someone removed a garage window and broke into his garage. A $200 AM-FM/CD stereo, a woofer box containing two 12-inch speakers, a 1,000-watt amplifier and a 600-watt amplifier were stolen.
Theft/forgery: A Girard man reported someone forged and cashed a $980 personal check at Second National Bank, 6515 Tippecanoe Road.
Attempted breaking and entering, criminal damage: An employee at J.D. Byrider, 6534 Market St., discovered someone tried to break into the business and that $500 in damage had been done to a garage door and its track.
Theft: A man in the 60 block of Shields Road reported his wallet containing $70 missing from his vehicle.
Theft: A man in the 4700 block of Euclid Boulevard reported 12 titanium fishing rods valued at a total of $2,460 and 11 fishing reels stolen from his driveway.
Theft: Police arrested a Poland girl and a Salem girl, both 17, on theft charges after two necklaces and two charm bracelets were stolen from the J.C. Penney store.
Theft: A man reported his registration plate stolen from a parking lot near his home in the 7000 block of West Boulevard.
Criminal damage: A woman discovered $200 in damage to her vehicle's driver's-side window at her residence in the 5700 block of Sheridan Road.
June 6
Criminal damage: A man in the 1600 block of Palo Verde Drive found two windows on his car had been smashed.
Theft/criminal damage: A man in the 4800 block of Grover Drive reported his car's driver's-side door lock damaged, and a $200 AM-FM/CD stereo and 100 CDs stolen.
Vandalism: Police arrested a 24-year-old Youngstown woman at T.J. Maxx, 527 Boardman-Canfield Road, on charges of felony vandalism and misdemeanor possession of criminal tools. Damage was done to about $541 worth of clothing and handbags at the store.
Theft: Police charged a 37-year-old Hermitage, Pa., woman with felony theft after four pairs of blue jeans, a pair of pants and a shirt were stolen from Kaufmann's in the Southern Park Mall. She also faced a felony warrant charging her with passing bad checks.
Theft/drugs abuse: Police charged a Greenville, Pa., woman, 26, with theft, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of drug-abuse instruments and obstructing official business. An employee at Dollar General, 5953 South Ave., accused the woman of trying to steal a $5 pair of sandals. Police say they discovered suspected drug-abuse instruments during a search and said she gave them a false name.
Arrest: Police arrested a 17-year-old North Lima girl after three tubes of lip gloss and a tube of makeup were stolen from Wal-Mart. She was charged with theft and also faced charges of possession of marijuana and underage possession of tobacco.
Theft: Police charged a 26-year-old Youngstown woman with theft after a $29 pair of shoes, three rings and a bracelet were taken from Kaufmann's.
Theft: Police arrested a 27-year-old Boardman man and charged him with theft. He was accused of stealing one package each of ham, bread, cheese and turkey from Giant Eagle, 476 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Theft: A Columbiana man reported his wallet stolen from his car parked at Boardman Township Park, 375 Boardman-Poland Road.
Theft: An employee at Pizza Hut, 8535 South Ave., discovered the business had been coming up short by varying amounts of money totaling about $105 over a one-week period.
Domestic violence: Police arrested a 34-year-old Youngstown woman near Wingate Avenue and Sheridan Road on a domestic-violence charge. A woman in the 1700 block of Nova Lane reported her son was a victim. He had a small cut and a large bump on his forehead.
POLAND
June 1
Forgery: A Youngstown man told police he received a letter from Second National Bank, 60 S. Main St., stating that someone had cashed several checks, causing his account to be overdrawn.
June 3
Arrest: After investigating a suspicious vehicle traveling on College Street and pulling it over, police arrested an 18-year-old Youngstown man on a warrant from Liberty charging him with failure to appear in court on a criminal-trespass charge. He also was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after officers say they found a suspected marijuana pipe under his car's driver's seat.
