Nicole Simms, Anthony Oliver to be married

XCHULA VISTA, Calif. -- Nicole Kamila Simms and Anthony Frederick Oliver, both of 1441 Santa Lucia Road, are engaged.
The bride-to-be is a daughter of Karen and Rayford Baskin, 2618 McGuffey Road, Youngstown, and Angelo R. Simms of Columbus. The future groom is a son of Joann Oliver, 4623 N. Penn St., Philadelphia.
Nov. 28 has been chosen as the couple's wedding day. They will exchange marriage vows during an open-church ceremony at 1 p.m. at Temple Emmanuel Seventh Day Adventist Church in Youngstown. Invitations will be issued for an afternoon reception at the Holiday Inn MetroPlex Centre in Liberty.
The bride-elect has served for two years in the U.S. Navy and is stationed in San Diego. She is a yeoman, third-class petty officer.
The prospective groom also is serving in the U.S. Navy and is a 17-year veteran. He is an information technical chief and also is stationed in San Diego.
