WARREN -- Township police are investigating a stabbing that sent a local woman to the hospital.
Lt. Don Bishop said two women were fighting at the Golden Stallion bar, Main Street, around 12:45 a.m. Saturday, when one woman ended up being stabbed numerous times.
Petrina Colman, 22, of Roberts Street, was treated at a local hospital for stab wounds on both arms, her right ear and top of her head, Bishop said.
Bishop said he hopes photographs taken at the bar by a patron will help police identify the suspect. No charges have been filed.
Hospital treats worker
BROOKFIELD -- A Trumbull County worker who spent 30 minutes trapped under a tractor was treated and released from an area hospital.
Brookfield firefighters said the man, whose name they did not release because of medical privacy concerns, was taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown on Saturday morning after fire crews from Brookfield and Hermitage, Pa., along with two wrecker drivers freed him at the scene at Sharon Hogue and Lincoln.
The man was stuck in a ditch with the tractor on top of him after he was mowing brush along the road.

BROOKFIELD -- The board of education will meet in special session at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the high school cafeteria. No action will be taken at the meeting.
Flag disposal ceremony
AUSTINTOWN -- The Austintown Memorial American Legion Post 301 will have a flag disposal ceremony on June 14, Flag Day, at Wickliffe Circle, Veterans Park in Austintown.
The ceremony will begin at 1 p.m. rain or shine. Post 301 asks that all unserviceable U.S. flags either be dropped off at the American Legion Post on Oakwood (between 4 Mile Run and Meridian Road) before June 14 or bring them to the site the day of the ceremony.
Waiting list for facilityopen for a limited time
NILES -- The waiting list for Central Park Apartments will be reopened for a limited time beginning today.
Beatrice Baer, board secretary of the Niles Churches for Housing Inc. which owns the 50-unit facility for the elderly, said the list is down to 19 applicants and has been closed for three years. The goal is to have a list of 30.
Those who want on the list can sign up from 10 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday at the office, 155 E. State St. For information, (330) 544-0849.
Man jailed after chase
NEW CASTLE, Pa. -- A 35-year-old city man was in Lawrence County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bond after a chase involving state and city police early Sunday through Union Township and the city. Jailed was Paul Edward Martin of Meegan Avenue, who refused to stop his pickup truck when Pennsylvania State Police tried to stop him for a traffic violation at 7:53 a.m. at West Washington and Meriline streets in Union Township, police said.
