STRUTHERS -- Seventeen runs were scored in the first three innings, seven of them in the bottom of the third, as Youngstown Propane outslugged Youngstown Express 12-7 in the Class B League Sunday at Cene Park.
Propane (3-7) also collected 16 hits, while Express (0-9) had 14.
Dave Baco went 4-for-4 with two doubles and drove in two runs for Propane. Chris Norris had three hits. Mike Evans (2-0) came on in relief in the second inning and worked six, with four strikeouts, to pick up the win.
Shane Gallagher paced Express with three hits.

Tom Enyeart (1-1) worked a complete game, allowed only four hits and struck out eight to pick up the win.
Grant Sevek had two hits for the winners (7-2). Dom Modarelli hit a double. Ryan Cameron and Joel Imler each had a double for the losers (3-6).

Line Drive scored eight runs in the second inning and six in the fourth, and had 17 hits in the contest.
Matt Madrid and Justin Lemmo paced the winners with three hits apiece while Dom Modarelli, Aaron Boris, Grant Sevek and Nate Tacsik each had two.

Pat Oman had a perfect day at the plate with four hits for league-leading Wharmby (8-1). Rudy Pekarovic added three hits, including a double.

Pat Oman had three hits and three RBIs to lead Wharmby's victory.
Jessie Alfreno allowed three runs in six innings, with five strikeouts, for the win. Andrew Browing got the save.
For Rondinelli (5-4), Cameron Cimino, Phil Williamson and Dan Babyak each had two hits.

Livi Steel (6-4), behind 3-2, scored the deciding two runs in the bottom of the third inning. Justin Byler hit a double and single for Livi Steel, and Ryan Myers hit a pair of singles. Jake Abbott allowed four hits with seven strikeouts to pick up the win.

Livi broke the game open with 11 runs in the fourth and fifth innings. Rick Banna and Josh Geric each had three hits for the winners.
For Dave Sugar, Dan DeLuca had two hits and an RBI.

Astro Falcons (8-2) collected 15 hits as it scored four runs in the second inning, then iced the game with four more in the sixth.
Adam Wigley fired a two-hitter as he worked six innings, with 12 strikeouts. Brett Pitzulo, Joe Irwin and Wigley each had three hits.
Mink Financial 12,Roth Brothers 2
Dave Piersante had two hits and three RBIs as Mink (7-3) broke the game open against Roth (0-9). Ryan Myers tripled and Ryan Hallapy doubled.
Mike Swoboda allowed one earned run on five hits in five innings for the victory.
John Virostko had two hits for Roth.

GIRARD -- Brian Daugherty had two hits, including a bases-loaded single in the bottom of the 10th inning, to lift B.B. Rooners to a 7-6 victory over Lake in a Greater Akron Baseball Federation game.
Shane Scott, the winning pitcher, and James McCants had two hits each for Rooners (13-1, 2-0 GABF).
B.B. Rooners won the second game of the day, 6-2, behind Josh Cress' complete-game.
Class AA
Nick Guerrieri had two hits and three RBIs, while Jonathan Habuda and Shane Wyant each scored three times as Youngstown Metros defeated MTC Knights 15-7.
Ed Morales allowed one run in four innings for the win.
Charles Hendricks had three hits for the Knights.
