XWARREN -- The marriage of Tonia Williamson and Richard Thomas, both of 6895 Winterpark Ave., Austintown, was solemnized by the Rev. Alton Merrell Sr. May 1 at New Jerusalem Fellowship Church.
A reception was at Leo's Ristorante and Banquet Center and the couple left for a honeymoon to Cancun, Mexico.
The bride is a daughter of Carol Williamson, Warren, and the late Ronald Davis. The groom is a son of Barbara Thomas, Austintown, and Richard Lewis, Boardman.
Mr. and Mrs. Thomas are employed at General Motors Corp. He attended Youngstown State University.
Silver appliqu & eacute;s adorned the bride's white gown styled with a full skirt. She was escorted by her uncle, Jack Williamson.
Honor attendants were Sonya Harden and Chevonne Parks. Bridesmaids were Tracey Thomas, Crystal Wells, Michelle Alexander, Lisa Lawrence, Celina Gardenhire, Tayanna Pennell, Marisol Bowers, Tina Price, Kiera Williamson and Danielle Price. They wore Victorian-lilac gowns. Junior bride was Jordan Thomas and flower girls were Jacci Freeman, Taylor Daisher and Alexis Castellon.
Best man was Michael L. Pippins. Groomsmen were Jason Thomas, Kelvin Seawood, Michael Butler, Keith Lawrence, Eric Gardenhire, Arthur Thompson, Damon Williamson, Derrick Beachum, Timothy Harden, David Ziegler and Darrell Benson. Junior groom was Aaron Williamson and ring bearer was Noah Williams. Ushers were Stephen Witherspoon, Frank Curtis Jr. and Gennaro Brocious.
