May 26
Theft: Police arrested a 20-year-old Boardman woman on a felony theft charge after $520 worth of clothing was stolen from the J.C. Penney store in the Southern Park Mall.
Theft: A Boardman woman reported $50 in cash, her Ohio driver's license and other items missing from her purse she left unattended at Gabriel Bros., 850 Boardman-Poland Road.
Theft: A 21-year-old Youngstown woman faced a theft charge after a $26 pair of tennis shoes was stolen from Gabriel Bros.
Arrest: A 31-year-old Campbell man was arrested in front of Cellular One, 8089 South Ave., and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
Arrest: After a traffic stop in the 50 block of Willow Drive, an 18-year-old Brookfield man was arrested on charges of underage possession of alcohol and disorderly conduct.

Burglary: A woman reported her apartment in the 30 block of Shields Road burglarized. Forty OxyContin tablets, 70 medication tablets and $250 in cash were stolen.
Auto theft: A 1992 Cadillac Fleetwood was stolen from a driveway in the 4500 block of Grover Drive.
Theft: Police arrested two Warren women, 21 and 22, on theft charges after 13 pairs of shoes and a travel bag were taken from Gabriel Bros. One of the suspects also was charged with possession of criminal tools.
Theft: A Bethel, Maine, woman reported being a victim of theft when her Wal-Mart gift card was fraudulently used from an undetermined Boardman residence to make $436.69 worth of purchases over the Internet.
Theft: An employee at Miller Rod & amp; Gun, 5140 Youngstown-Poland Road, discovered a .22-caliber rifle and a 12-gauge shotgun missing. The loss was around $825.
Theft: Police charged a 27-year-old Boardman woman with theft after a pair of blue jean shorts, a shirt and two other items were stolen from Wal-Mart, 1300 Doral Drive.
Recovered property: Police recovered a 1996 Acura, thought to have been stolen in Youngstown, in the Boardman High School parking lot, 7777 Glenwood Ave.

Theft: A woman in the 7700 block of Tod Lane reported her vehicle's front license plate stolen.
Theft: A Canfield man reported two saws, a cordless drill, a cordless nailer and a toolbox missing from his pickup truck parked at Home Depot, 7001 Southern Blvd.
Theft: A woman discovered a $200 Nintendo game machine and a $78 DVD player stolen from her apartment in the 100 block of Lemans Drive.
Possible theft: A man in the 700 block of Brookfield Avenue reported his car's front license plate lost or stolen.
Arrest: After stopping his vehicle in the 600 block of East Midlothian Boulevard, police arrested a 29-year-old Youngstown man on a charge of improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle.
Bad checks: A Wal-Mart employee reported someone passed two bad checks totaling $811.86 at the business.
Arrest: After his vehicle was stopped in the 10 block of West Midlothian Boulevard, a Youngstown man, 28, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of drugs after officers say they found suspected marijuana and a suspected marijuana pipe. The man also was wanted on warrants charging him with failure to appear in court on two traffic violations.
Theft: Police arrested three Youngstown girls, 12, 13 and 14, at Target, 417 Boardman-Poland Road, and charged each with theft. The three were accused of stealing two pairs of earrings, a necklace and a ring.
Vandalism: Someone broke a rear glass door, resulting in $500 worth of damage, at Burlington Coat Factory, 461 Boardman-Canfield Road.

Drugs: After pulling over her vehicle near Vineland Avenue and U.S. Route 224, police cited a 23-year-old Poland woman after finding a suspected marijuana cigarette in her purse and detecting a suspected marijuana odor in the car.
Arrest: A 36-year-old Warren man wanted on a felony warrant from Boardman was arrested in Leavittsburg and charged with forgery. An employee at Giant Eagle, 476 Boardman-Canfield Road, reported the business was the victim of a forged $680.64 check.
Assault: A Newton Falls woman told police she was assaulted in a BP gas station parking lot, 1090 Boardman-Poland Road. She had swelling on the left side of her face.
Arrest: A 19-year-old Youngstown woman was arrested at a residence in the 7500 block of Huntington Drive on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and obstructing official business.
Aggravated robbery: An employee at Payday Cash Advance, 74 Boardman-Poland Road, reported the business was robbed. An undetermined amount of money was missing.
Criminal damage: An employee at Ohio Color Inc., 755 Boardman-Canfield Road, discovered minor damage to a rear door.
Auto theft: A woman in the 4000 block of Shelby Road reported her 1994 Ford Taurus stolen from her driveway.
Theft: A 17-year-old North Jackson girl was charged with theft after a $26 skirt was stolen from Kohl's, 383 Boardman-Poland Road.
Theft: Police arrested two 17-year-old Struthers boys on theft charges after a $60 pistol and a pair of scissors were stolen from Wal-Mart. One of the boys also was charged with possession of criminal tools.
Domestic violence: A 41-year-old Poland man was arrested near Sheridan Road and Johnston Place on a warrant charging him with domestic violence. A Poland woman alleged her former husband made domestic-violence threats against her while she was in the 500 block of Boardman-Poland Road.
Criminal damage, theft: An employee at Tinsletown USA, 7401 Market St., discovered an outside showcase window had been broken and a movie poster stolen.
Auto theft: An Austintown man reported his 2003 Pontiac Grand Am stolen while it was at Youngstown Buick, Pontiac GMC Truck, 7997 Market St.
Assault: A Youngstown woman reported being assaulted at Boardman Lanes, 7524 Market St. The woman had no visible injuries.
Arrest: After checking a suspicious vehicle traveling on Doral Drive and determining it to have been stolen in Youngstown, police arrested a 21-year-old Youngstown man. He was charged with receiving stolen property, carrying a concealed weapon, resisting arrest and drug possession. The car was a 1993 Nissan Maxima.
Theft: Someone left a BP gas station, 1090 Boardman-Poland Road, and failed to pay for $12.31 worth of gasoline.
Assault: A Boardman man suffered a swollen left eye and a split lip after being assaulted during a fight in front of Michael's Arts & amp; Crafts, 365 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Assault: A Boardman boy reported being assaulted near Rite Aid Pharmacy, 285 Boardman-Canfield Road. He had a sore left thumb.

Theft: An employee at Petitti Garden Center, 5509 South Ave., reported eight plants stolen. The loss was estimated at $1,350.
Assault, aggravated menacing: A woman in the 800 block of Cook Avenue told police someone had been following her in her vehicle. She also reported that the person deliberately bumped her car and threw objects at it while she was traveling near Cook and Evans avenues.
Theft: A man reported a license plate stolen off his vehicle at his home in the 5300 block of Linger Place.
Theft: A 15-year-old Youngstown boy was charged with theft after two DVDs valued at $35 were stolen from Target.
Criminal mischief: A woman in the 80 block of Gertrude Avenue reported $100 in damage to several flowers and potted plants in her yard.

Recovered property: A 2002 Honda sport-utility vehicle, stolen in Slippery Rock, Pa., was recovered during a traffic stop near South Avenue and U.S. Route 224.
Theft, criminal damage: A man reported a $100 pager, a $250 cellular phone, a baseball glove and a baseball bat stolen from his vehicle parked in front of his home in the 4100 block of Shelby Road.
Criminal damage: A woman in the 4100 block of Shelby Road found her car's trunk lock damaged. Estimated amount of damage was $500.
Theft, criminal damage: A Salem woman reported someone broke her vehicle's driver's-side window while she was at the Red Roof Inn, 1051 Tiffany Blvd. A $300 compact-disc/AM-FM player, a $200 amplifier and another item were taken.
Assault, menacing: A Canfield woman reported a man claiming to be a police officer threatened to beat her up and that he attempted to strike her with his car in the Wal-Mart parking lot.
Theft: Someone pumped $55 worth of gasoline into a vehicle and left a Shell station, 1510 Boardman-Canfield Road, without paying.
Theft: Someone took $137.42 worth of assorted flowers from Jerry K's Greenhouse, 5009 South Ave.
Theft, criminal damage: A woman in the 4100 block of Arden Boulevard reported damage to her vehicle, and that a $150 amplifier, two $80 12-inch speakers, a speaker box and $35 in cash had been stolen.
June 1
Arrests: Two Boardman boys, 12 and 15, were charged with falsification after police investigating a domestic-violence situation said they provided false information.
Criminal damage: A 22-year-old man was arrested at his residence in the 80 block of Melrose Avenue on a criminal-damaging charge. A Bessemer, Pa., man noticed a tire valve stem on his vehicle had been damaged while he was at Buffalo Wild Wings in the Southern Park Mall.
Arrest: Police arrested a man, 37, at his home in the 1100 block of East Calla Road on a warrant charging him with two counts of theft.
Theft, criminal damage: A woman in the 6000 block of Applecrest Court reported her vehicle's front and rear windshields broken. Five vases, 32 cups and a child's toy were stolen from her car.
Criminal damage: A man discovered his car's tires had been damaged at his residence in the 200 block of Shields Road. Damage was estimated at $300.
Theft: A Warren woman reported her car's rear license plate missing in the 600 block of East Midlothian Boulevard.

Theft: A man in the 3900 block of Cascade Drive reported 150 CDs, a CD case, a checkbook and a CD visor case stolen from his vehicle.
Theft: Police arrested a 46-year-old Struthers man on a theft charge after 18 containers of soda valued at $40 were stolen from Giant Eagle, 1201 Doral Drive. A Struthers woman, 39, was charged with complicity to theft.
Criminal mischief: A Campbell man discovered damage to a cement foundation at a construction site in the 600 block of Westfield Drive.

May 29
Drugs: After pulling over a car near Ohio Avenue and U.S. Route 224, police found in the vehicle a possible crack pipe, as well as a bag containing suspected marijuana.
May 30
Theft: A man in the 50 block of Water Street reported a large bell and a pole stolen from his back yard. The bell was later found by a neighbor and returned to the man.
