NEW OFFICERS Mended Hearts, Chapter 7, installs N. Lee Meadows as new president



The organization offers a visiting program to cardiac patients.
BOARDMAN -- N. Lee Meadows was installed as president of Mended Hearts, Chapter 7, during a meeting May 26 at the Lockwood House. She and other officers will serve from 2004-06.
Also installed were Patricia Feindt, vice president; Donald Feindt, treasurer; and Joseph Clark, secretary.
Jill Snyder, central regional director of Mended Hearts, conducted the installation.
Background
Meadows has been a member of Mended Hearts and an accredited visitor for five years. She has served as vice president, secretary, program and publicity chairwoman, Holiday Happening chairwoman and Heart Walk co-chairwoman. She also served as a volunteer with St. Elizabeth Medical Center and Forum Health, American Heart Association, Fellows Riverside Gardens and the LPGA. Meadows is a member of Butler Institute of American Art, Ohio Cultural Alliance, Youngstown Opera Guild, Forum Health Auxiliary, Friends of Fellows Riverside Gardens and Friends of Austintown Library.

The next meeting is planned for 7 p.m. June 30 at Beeghly Medical Center, Building C, Room 114. The speaker will be Carl Fossaceca, pharmacist at St. Joseph's Family Medical Center. His topic will be "New Medication in the Treatment and Prevention of Heart Disease."
