Kerr anniversary is celebrated at dinner party



XCANFIELD -- Mr. and Mrs. Donald Kerr, 221 Bradford Drive, were the guests of honor during a dinner party held May 1 at Lucianno's Restaurant in Austintown, in celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary.
Invitations for the event were extended by their daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Bob Tieche, and the couple's two grandchildren and their spouses, all of Canfield.
The former Evelyn Manley and Mr. Kerr were married May 1, 1954, at First Covenant Church in Cleveland. They are members of Canfield United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Kerr graduated from Trumbull Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in 1952 as a registered nurse. She retired in 1960 after having been employed at University Hospitals in Cleveland; Trumbull Memorial Hospital, Warren; Newbury School System, Newbury; and Diamond Alkali Co., Painesville.
Mr. Kerr retired in 1993 after more than 30 years of service as district manager with Western-Southern Life Insurance Co. in Youngstown. He belongs to the Masonic Lodge and is a member of a golf league.
