JULIE MCCOYTEDDY PANTELAS
XWARREN -- The Rev. Lori Valenzisi officiated at the May 8 wedding of Julie McCoy and Teddy Pantelas, both of Youngstown, during a ceremony at 4 p.m. at St. Demetrios Greek Youth Center, where the newlyweds received guests during a reception that followed.
Since returning from a honeymoon to Cancun, Mexico, the couple live in Youngstown.
Parents of the bride are Catherine and William McCoy of Youngstown. The groom is a son of Georgia Pantelas of Warren and the late George Pantelas.
The bride wore a satin A-line gown styled with a draped front and sweep train. A rhinestone tiara secured her illusion veil.
Maid of honor was Sarah Thompson, who wore a celadon-colored dress. Wearing red dresses were the bridesmaids, Shauna McCoy, the bride's sister-in-law; Sofia Dovellos, the groom's sister; and Michelle Wrona and Phyllis Dodson. Junior bridesmaids were Eleni and Nicoola Dovellos, the groom's nieces, and flower girl was Mary-Margaret Carolus.
Zachary Economos served as best man. Groomsmen were Jeff Grubbs, Edward Dikun, Todd Bolotin and Daniel McCoy, the bride's brother. Junior groomsmen were Christopher Economos and Zachary Lutz. The bride's nephews, Lukas and Triston McCoy, were ring bearers.
Mrs. Pantelas, a free-lance abstract artist, is employed as a horticulturist with Mill Creek Park, Youngstown.
Mr. Pantelas is a jazz guitarist and also teaches guitar.
