GENNIFER WESTTOD FILMER
XBOCA RATON, Fla. -- Gennifer Leigh West, daughter of Meri West, 33 E. Canuno Real, and Michael West of Millcreek Village, Boardman, was married at 6 p.m. May 8 at HIghland Beach to Tod Allan Filmer, son of Jane Filmer, 3765 Mercedes Drive, Canfield, and Ted Filmer, 205 Fairground Blvd., Canfield.
A reception followed at the Holiday Inn at Highland Beach, and the couple honeymooned in Orlando, Fla. They are living at 245 Neff Drive, Canfield.
The bride wore a strapless ivory satin A-line gown embroidered with diamond sequins and flowers. Buttons accented the back and train.
Her sister, Stefanie West, was maid of honor, and bridesmaid was Jodi Franklin, the groom's sister. They wore black ensembles.
Bill Brocker performed the duties of best man, and groomsman was Jeremy West, the bride's brother. The couple's son, Riley Filmer, was ring bearer.
Mrs. Filmer attended West Palm Beach University in Florida and Youngstown State University. She holds certification in paramedicine and is employed as a paramedic with Clemente Ambulance in Struthers.
Her husband graduated from Cuyahoga Community College with a degree in applied science and is a physician's assistant at Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna.
