GARDEN CLUBS
MONDAY
XMembers of Transplants will meet at 6:30 p.m. for a plant exchange and picnic. Carol Jay will be hostess, and members are to take a covered dish or dessert. The club will supply sandwiches and chips. Maureen Binning will be in charge of the drawing.
TUESDAY
XMoccasin will have its annual plant sale at the home of Sue Herman. Theresa Grimes will serve as auctioneer, and hostesses will be Sue Herman and Vi Castor. Shampoo will be the donation to the Emmanuel Center.
XKim Bretz will be hostess for the 7:30 p.m. meeting of New Bedford. Co-hostess will be Norma Beck, and the program will be viewing a finished pond.
THURSDAY
XThe meeting of Hubbard Junior will convene at the Main Street Floral & amp; Greenhouse for a program on "Planting Containers." Co-hostesses will be Evie Blackwell and Kathy Burke.
XMembers of Sweetbriar will take a day trip to a Hudson Home and Garden Tour. There also will be a Dutch treat.
XTrumbull County Garden Forum Board will meet at noon at Panera Bread, Elm Road. Members at large should call Donna Green at (330) 637-4552 for reservations.
SATURDAY
XA flower show is planned for 9 a.m. by the Garden Forum at the D.D. and Velma Davis Education and Visitor Center.
XGleaners will participate in the Garden Forum Flower show. At noon there will be a business meeting and lunch.
UPCOMING
XTrumbull County Garden Forum will hold its third annual June Rose Tea and Flower Show at 6 p.m. June 17 at G's Golden Gate restaurant, 2186 Parkman Road, Warren. The cost is $10. There will be a speaker. Friendly Garden Club will host.
XGarden club events are published Sundays. The deadline is noon Thursday.
