GIRARD
May 29
Arrest: After responding to a fight in the St. Rose Church parking lot, 48 E. Main St., police arrested a Niles man on a charge of disorderly conduct.
Assaults: A Youngstown man told police three Niles men assaulted him after a fight broke out near Mikeee's, 30 N. State St. The victim reported that, as he tried to break up a fight, several men kicked and punched him after he tripped. Also, a North Jackson man said that 10 to 15 men jumped him and hit him several times in the head, face and body. He was found bleeding on his right hand and had bruises on his face, neck and back.
Theft: A woman noticed four solar lights had been removed from her yard in the 400 block of East Wilson Avenue.
Criminal damage: A McDonald man reported both passenger-side tires on his vehicle had been cut while his car was at Pallone's Service, 34 N. State St.
Theft: A Hubbard woman reported her wallet stolen while she was at Creekside Golf Dome, 1300 N. State St.
May 30
Assault: A woman in the 100 block of East Main Street reported her son, 17, was assaulted in the St. Rose Church parking lot. The woman said her son told her he had been tackled while he was on his bicycle and that two people beat him up. The boy's head, legs and face were bruised.
May 31
Criminal damage: A man in the 200 block of Church Hill Road reported someone shot a BB at his vehicle's window and damaged its mirror.
Theft: An employee at Tobacco Plus, 706 N. State St., reported two boys stole a carton of cigarettes.
June 1
Aggravated menacing: An employee at Girard Intermediate School, 700 E. Prospect St., told police he received a complaint from another employee that a 13-year-old pupil had threatened her with a BB gun.
LIBERTY
May 26
Theft, criminal damage: A New Waterford man reported his vehicle was broken into and ransacked while it was in the Liberty Plaza parking lot, 3551 Belmont Ave. A $200 cellular phone was stolen.
Theft, aggravated menacing: A woman in the 10 block of Trumbull Court told police that two men, 21 and 22, removed $210 from her car. The victim also reported a Youngstown woman, 23, came to her residence to pick up the men and threatened to shoot her.
Vehicle theft: A Boardman man reported his 1987 Chevy Starcraft van stolen from the Tallyho-tel parking lot, 4249 Belmont Ave.
May 27
Aggravated burglary: A man in the 2000 block of Crestwood Drive reported someone broke into his home through a rear sliding door. Among the items taken were a 2002 Chrysler Sebring, a $500 digital camera and two pairs of prescription glasses.
May 28
Arrest: After responding to a report of a vehicle sitting in the roadway in the 500 block of Ventura Drive, police arrested a 22-year-old Youngstown man. He was charged with assault on a police officer, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest after officers alleged he was intoxicated and charged at police after arguing with his girlfriend.
Auto theft: A 2000 Toyota Tundra was stolen from a driveway in the 3800 block of Logan Way.
Auto theft: A South Point, Ohio, woman reported her 2001 Toyota Tacoma stolen while it was at Sicilian Autobody, 1280 Trumbull Ave.
May 29
Criminal damage: A Warren woman discovered her vehicle's driver's-side door lock had been tampered with and a gasket had been damaged while the car was parked at Forum Health, 3551 Belmont Ave. Damage was estimated at $250.
Arrest: After stopping a vehicle and apprehending its driver in the 3000 block of Green Acres Drive, police charged a 28-year-old Campbell man with carrying a concealed weapon (firearm), possessing a weapon while on probation, driving under suspension and driving under the influence. Officers say the man fled on foot and, when approached, had a 9 mm handgun in his hand with 10 rounds of ammunition.

Identity fraud: A woman in the 400 block of Aurora Drive reported that Citi Bank told her someone was trying to fraudulently use her name and Social Security number to apply for a line of credit over the Internet and to buy a computer.
May 31
Breaking and entering: An employee at DePizzo Landscape & amp; Lawn Maintenance, 4791 Belmont Ave., discovered a front gate and a set of doors open as he arrived for work. A $4,000 landscape trailer containing about $38,500 worth of equipment had been stolen.
HUBBARD
May 27
Assault: A man in the 800 block of East Liberty Street reported his 17-year-old son was beaten up in Hubbard Township at an undetermined location.
Assault: An employee at Reed Middle School, 150 Hall Ave., reported someone in a green Pontiac Grand Am shot him with a plastic BB, striking him below the eye, when he and some pupils were at Dairy Queen, 119 Youngstown-Hubbard Road.
Assault: An employee at Hubbard High School, 350 Hall Ave., reported a girl, 13, threw food in the cafeteria and caused a disturbance.
May 28
Theft: Two people reported various items missing from a residence in the 100 block of Viola Avenue.
Criminal mischief: A woman in the 1000 block of Waugh Drive reported two boys removed a traffic cone that had been placed at Waugh and Saul drives.
Arrest: A Hubbard man surrendered to police and was arrested on a warrant charging him with two counts of theft and one count each of burglary and breaking and entering.
May 30
Arrest: After a traffic stop in Warren, the Ohio State Highway Patrol arrested a Hubbard woman on a warrant charging her with failure to appear in court on an income-tax charge.
May 31
Recovered property: Two bicycles were found after a woman in the 400 block of Rebecca Avenue reported her son and a friend had their bicycles stolen in the 100 block of Stewart Street.
