She was born June 9, 1927 in Butler, Pa., a daughter of Martin and Catherine Antoszyk. & lt;BR & gt;
Mrs. Matteo was a member of St. Camillus Church and the Eagles Ladies Auxiliary. & lt;BR & gt;
Her husband, John H. Matteo, died Nov. 25, 2001. & lt;BR & gt;
Survivors include a daughter, Denise Fornataro of New Castle; three sons, Harlan and Jay of New Castle and Martin of Texas; two brothers, Walter Antoszyk of Butler and Peter Antoszyk of Saxonburg, Pa.; three sisters, Rose Scheetz of Groton, Conn., Mary Lucovich of Sarver, Pa., and Ann Cravits of Natrona Heights, Pa.; and eight grandchildren. & lt;BR & gt;
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Florence; and four brothers, Andrew, Charles, Michael and John. & lt;BR & gt;
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Ed & amp;amp; Don DeCarbo Northside Funeral Home, 3000 Wilmington Road in New Castle. & lt;BR & gt;
There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Camillus Church. & lt;BR & gt;
