Eddie Gonda scored the game tying run in the bottom of the seventh inning and Steve Bensinger had the game winning hit. For Wharmby's, Matthew Dillion doubled.Howland AC 13, Astro Falcons 6 -- Howland scored five runs in the first inning en route to a 13-6 win over Astro Falcons. Shawn Pelo led Howland, pitching three innings in relief and allowing only one run. He also went 3-4 at the plate with a triple. Brendan Solarz went 2-3 with a triple and three runs scored and Kevin Vellente went 2-3 for Howland. For Astro Falcons, Mark Turnbull went 1-2 with a double and a run scored.Line Drive 10, Salem A.C. 2 -- Eight players got hits and 10 different players scored for Line Drive in a balanced effort. Scott Smith pitched all five innings. For Salem, Derek Ball, Josh Dankovich and T.J. Rosenberg had hits.

Austintown Artistic Images 11, Boardman Boosters 4 -- Tim Connell pitched a complete-game five-hitter, striking out 14 batters. Tom DeToro's three hits included a double and drove in two runs. Shane Price added two hits and three RBIs while Josh Pontius, Todd Mounce, Anthony Berdis and Michael Lyden had two hits apiece. For Boardman, Ryan Walters' two hits included a double. He scored twice and drove in a run. Craig Bletso's two hits included a double and he drove in two runs.Austintown Artistic Images 8, Boardman Boosters 7 -- Bill Taylor capped a seven-run, seventh-inning rally with a two-run double. Taylor pitched six innings, striking out eight while walking one. Mike Prachick had two doubles and three RBIs for Austintown. Josh Pontius and Michael Lyden each had two hits. One of Pontius' hits was a double. For Boardman, Tony Sferra pitched six innings, striking out seven. Tim Ortega's two hits included a double as he scored three runs. Craig Bletso had two hits, one a double, and scored twice. Columbiana DeChellis Dental 6, Canfield 2 -- Lorin Dickinson scored three times and pitched a five-hitter. Pat Sposato tallied twice and Brian Bagwell knocked in a run with a double. For Canfield, Tyler Pearce allowed two hits while striking out four.
