New Waterford Net sting leads to arrest of 9th man

NEW WATERFORD -- A 41-year-old Cleveland-area man arraigned Tuesday is the ninth arrest since Jan. 30 in an undercover Internet investigation by New Waterford police.
Chief Dan Haueter said police arrested Mark Jasinski, 41, of Wellington, around 10:30 p.m. Saturday after Haueter chatted online with him May 28, posing as a 14-year-old girl in an Internet chat room called "Young Girls Wanting an Adult Man."
Haueter said Jasinski is a chef in the Cleveland area and Jasinski wanted to "give and receive oral sex."
The chief said Jasinski scrapped a plan to take the 14-year-old girl he thought he was meeting shopping for lingerie because he couldn't leave his house until after 8 p.m.
Judge Mark Frost of Columbiana County Municipal Court's Eastern Area Division set Jasinski's bond at $500,000 with 10 percent accepted. The judge set a preliminary hearing for June 8.
Jasinski was in the Columbiana County Jail on felony charges of importuning and attempted illegal sexual conduct with a minor. Both charges carry a sentence of six to 18 months in jail.
Others arrested on similar charges are Kenneth L. Rice, 45, of Galion; William Love, 63, of Twinsburg; Michael Black, 54, of Taylorsville Ky.; Michael Resann, 45, of Goshen, Ind.; Lonzo Stover, 38, of Attica, Ohio; Gary L.
