XAKRON-- Temple Tanae Taylor and Charles Reginald Ellis, both of 357 E. 14th Ave., Columbus, were united in marriage during a 4:15 p.m. ceremony that took place July 31 at Holy Trinity United Methodist Church.
The Rev. Linda Motley, the bride's aunt, presided as nuptial vows were exchanged by the daughter of Brenda Taylor, 990 Dover Ave., Akron, and Larry Taylor of Cleveland, and the son of Doris and Charles Ellis, 230 Lincoln Park Drive, Youngstown.
After a reception at St. Joseph Family Center, the couple left for a wedding trip to Cancun, Mexico.
They will live in Columbus.
Fashioned of white satin and adorned with pale-pink and silver embroidery, the bride's strapless A-line gown of white satin featured a split back train.
Pale-pink gowns were worn by the bride's sister and honor attendant, Cherri Taylor, and the bridesmaids, Toni Motley, her cousin; Rachel Miller; and Denise Ellis, the groom's sister. Flower girl was the groom's niece, Kayla Stokes.
De Juan Ellis served as best man for his brother, and groomsmen were Albert Fisher, Christopher Moss and the groom's cousin DeMaine Kitchen. Ring bearer was Johnathon Taylor, and ushers were Brian and Michael Taylor, all nephews of the bride.
A graduate of Ohio State University with a degree in sociology, the bride is an aide in the Ohio State Senate, Columbus.
The groom, an account examiner with the Ohio Department of Public Safety in Columbus, earned a degree in business administration at OSU.
