XNORTH JACKSON -- Shawn Conroy and his bride, the former Kristin Martin, were honored during a reception at the Maronite Center, Youngstown, after their wedding at 2 p.m. June 26 at Bailey Road Baptist Church. The Rev. Gary Marburger officiated.
Their parents are John and Ann Martin, 5538 London Court, Austintown, and Donald Jr. and Darlean Conroy, 152 N. Roanoke Ave., Austintown.
The couple honeymooned on an eastern Caribbean cruise. They live in Austintown.
The bride earned a bachelor's degree in middle-school education at Youngstown State University, where she is pursuing a master's in that field. She is a service associate at First Place Bank, Youngstown, and a substitute teacher in Austintown School District. The groom is a sales associate at the Home Depot, Boardman, and a part-time firefighter and emergency medical technician in Austintown Township.
The bride wore a princess A-line gown of satin designed with a bateau neckline and court train and trimmed with gold beading and embroidery.
Tara Baun was honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Stacey Zaniewski, the bride's cousin; Tammie Conroy, the groom's sister-in-law; and Angela Grahovac. They wore Victorian-lilac dresses. The bride's cousin, Gabrielle Martin, was flower girl.
Serving as best man for his brother was Michael Conroy. Groomsmen were Daniel Martin, the bride's brother, and Jerry Byers and Paul Bates III. The bride's cousin, Travis Ruegg, was ring bearer.
