GRETCHEN DAVISKEVIN SCHMIDT
XCANFIELD -- The Rev. Don Christensen solemnized the marriage of Gretchen L. Davis, 8215 W. Western Reserve Blvd., and Kevin A. Schmidt, 4925 Som-Center Road, Moreland Hills, during a ceremony at 2:30 p.m. June 26 at Canfield United Methodist Church.
A reception at the Holiday Inn MetroPlex Centre, Liberty, honored the daughter of Jack and Cindy Davis of the Western Reserve Boulevard address and the son of Carl and Barbara Schmidt, 13029 Fairfield Trail, Chesterland.
The couple honeymooned in Punta Cana. They live in Moreland Hills.
Mrs. Schmidt graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree in business administration in marketing, transportation and logistics from Ohio State University. A graduate assistant, she is enrolled in the master's program at John Carroll University.
Mr. Schmidt earned a bachelor's degree in consumer communications at OSU. He is a landscaper at Custom Landscaping in Chesterland.
Pearls, crystals and fabric flowers adorned the bodice, hemline and train of the bride's two-piece ivory satin ensemble.
Honor attendants were Melanie Impton and Ashley Davis. Bridesmaids were Stacey Ignasiak, Jessica Zajic, Michelle Stanec and Lara Mielcarek. They wore Victorian-amethyst dresses. Madison Impton was flower girl.
Mike Valigore was best man. Groomsmen were Matt Impton, Mark Ignasiak, Danny Schmidt, Drew Sevel and Mike Amato. Ring bearers were Nicholas Impton and Jack Ignasiak.
