XYOUNGSTOWN --Monsignor Lawrence Fye presided as Gelsomina DiLoreto, 1930-A Old Frederick Road, Catonsville, Md., and Jeffrey Caruso, 9342 Cross Timbers Court, Laurel, Md., were united in marriage during a 2 p.m. ceremony July 10 at St. Columba Cathedral.
A reception was held at Antone's Banquet Centre in Boardman for the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Domenico C. DiLoreto, 3937 Stratmore Ave., and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Caruso, 10521 Chesham Way, Woodstock, Md.
The couple honeymooned at Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic and live at the bride's address.
The bride's white satin A-line gown featured an off-the-shoulder neckline and a beaded lace bodice.
Victorian lilac gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Mary Kay Malenic, and the bridesmaids, Ann Mahadeviah, Lisa Burnell, Teddi Sebroski and Renee Belcourt. Flower girl was Chiara Ceresoni.
Keith Caruso served as best man, and groomsmen were David Boger, Michael Whitman, Pranay Gupta and Anthony DiLoreto.
The bride graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree and earned a master's at Johns Hopkins University. She is a senior systems integrator with Collabra Space Inc. for the Department of Defense at Fort Meade, Md.
The groom, a lobbyist with Maryland Catholic Conference in Annapolis, Md., holds a bachelor's degree from Pennsylvania State University and a law degree from Notre Dame University.
