Family dinner held to honor Cossette jubilee

XPOLAND -- Dr. and Mrs. Ren & eacute; Cossette, 6871 Blue Ridge Drive, were honored for the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary during a family dinner July 17 at Tippecanoe Country Club in Canfield.
Before dinner the couple and their family attended Mass at Holy Family Church. The couple are members there.
The dinner was hosted by the honorees' children and spouses, Charles and Darla Cossette and Michelle Cossette, all of Columbus; Marc and Patty Cossette of Poland; John and Cynthia DeWitt of New Middletown; Renee Cossette of Tampa, Fla.; and Alan and Amy Cossette of Brunswick. The family circle also includes 10 grandchildren.
The former Mary Jane Kay and Dr. Cossette exchanged marriage vows July 17, 1954, at St. Stanislaus Church in Youngstown.
Retiring in 1993, Dr. Cossette was an emergency room doctor at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown. Mrs. Cossette is a homemaker.
