XMill Creek Chapter of the American Business Women's Association will meet Aug. 10 at the Saxon Club, Meridian Road, Austintown. The program, "Salad and Sales," will include a light dinner and shopping spree with local vendors selling various items. The social will be at 6 p.m. followed by dinner at 6:30. The menu will be chicken salad croissant, pasta salad, tossed salad, gelatin with fruit and refreshments for $9 for members and $10 for nonmembers. XYo-Mah-O Chapter of the International Association of Administrative Professionals will meet at 6 p.m. Aug. 10 for a catered dinner at Beard Cabin in Boardman Township Park. XA picnic will be held by the Italian American Veterans Centre Auxiliary at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 11 at the club room on Meridian Road. There will be a $5 charge for guests. CLUBS
XBoardman-Poland Junior Women's League is accepting applications for membership for the 2004-2005 season. Membership is open to women 18 years of age and over who reside in Mahoning, Columbiana or Trumbull counties. Applications will also be accepted from girls 12 to 18 for the juniorette program. XWarren Women's Connection will hold a "Merry Makeover" breakfast buffet from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Aug. 9 at Aulizio's Banquet Center in Warren. Ruth Humenny will present makeup products, and speaker will be Marci McCombs. There will be music by Macy Marra. XYoungstown Women's Connection will hold a luncheon at noon Aug. 10 at the Italian American Veterans Centre, 115 S. Meridian Road, Austintown. The theme will be "Enjoy a Musical Break." SERVICE CLUBS
XVienna Kiwanis Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. The club will hold the Division 25 Family Fun Feast Aug. 7 at W.D. Packard Music Hall in Warren with children's games from 3 to 5 p.m., an auction from 5 to 6, dinner with a cash bar from 6 to 7, and a silent auction, music and games from 7 to 10 concluding with fireworks. Cost is $20 for adults, $5 for children 7-12 and free to those 6 and under. For tickets call (330) 856-2107. No tickets will be sold at the door. Proceeds will benefit the Children's Rehabilitation Center in Howland.
SINGLES
XCatholic Single Adults Club of Youngstown Inc. will go to Mountaineer Racing and Gaming Resort Aug. 14. Members should meet at 4 p.m. at the rear of the Grandview Restaurant in Canfield to form car pools. Dinner will be at 5:30 at the restaurant in the grandstands. Reservations are due by Aug. 11. Members will meet at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 20 and attend the movies at Austintown Plaza, then go out to eat. A picnic is planned from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 29 at Boardman Community Center at Boardman Township Park. The cost is $7. Lunch will be at noon. Those attending may take board games and cards.
