XCANFIELD -- Dustin Harvey and his bride, the former Amanda Platthy, both of Boardman, honeymooned in the Bahamas after their wedding at 1 p.m. June 26 at St. Michael Church.
The Rev. Terry Hazel officiated, and a reception was held at St. Mary Assumption Social Center, Youngstown.
The bride is a daughter of Terrance and Sandra Platthy, Virginia Trail, Liberty, and the groom is a son of Michele Harvey and Paul and Andrea Harvey, all of Austintown.
The couple live in Boardman.
The bride's white gown was embellished with pearls and rhinestones, and featured spaghetti straps, a scooped neckline, dropped waistline and a full beaded tulle skirt that flowed into a cathedral train.
Coral and orange gowns were worn by the honor attendants, Christina Farr and Kerry Quisenberry, and the bridesmaids, Jessika Harvey, Jacqueline Williams, Catherine Starr, Shannyn Ward, Richelle Semko and Nikki McNally. Flower girl was Kendra Richards.
Ryan Ewing and Gary Johnson were best men, and groomsmen were Brian Battaglia, Randy Quisenberry, George Kondas, Paul Farr, Brandon Chine and Ray McNally. Junior groomsman was Zachary Leone, and ring bearer was Tyler McNally.
The bride is employed in the child-care department at the YMCA in Boardman. The groom is employed at Steamers Stonewall Tavern in Boardman and in the maintenance department at the YMCA. Both are attending Youngstown State University.
