XBOULDER, Colo. -- Alyssa Garcia and Paul Evanoff, both of 6753 Rock Ridge Court, Middleburg Heights, exchanged marriage vows at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church before the Rev. Bill Breslin during a ceremony at 3 p.m. July 10.
Later they were honored during a reception at the National Center for Atmospheric Research.
Since returning from a honeymoon to the Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple live in Middleburg Heights.
The bride is a daughter of Rolando Garcia of Boulder and Christine Gerhardt-Jewell of Louisville, Colo. Parents of the groom are Paul and Carla Evanoff, 21 Brookline Ave., Youngstown.
Mrs. Evanoff graduated from Miami University in Oxford with a bachelor's degree in graphic design. She is a graphic designer and is employed at Smythe, Cramer Co. in Independence.
A financial adviser, Mr. Evanoff is employed at American Express Financial Advisors in Independence. He earned a degree in marketing at Miami University.
Honor attendant was Susana Diaz of Boulder, and bridesmaids were Kelly Stanard of Boston and the bride's cousins, Elena Contraras of Gaines City, Fla.; Stephanie Cimino of Oakland, Calif.; and Kate Gerhardt-Brown of San Jose, Calif. They wore burgundy dresses.
Performing the duties of best man was Patrick McGuire of Youngstown. Groomsmen were Mike Garcia of Boulder, the bride's brother, and Jason Ameen of Cleveland, Dan Ford of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Tom Marsco of Youngstown.
