Pizza Hut commercial
NILES -- Los Angeles-based Reactor Films was to film a Pizza Hut commercial this morning at a new Pizza Hut Bistro restaurant in Niles. Western Reserve Film Commission, which was founded by Richard Ouzounian, helped the company find lodging, catering and other services for the cast and crew of more than 80 people. The commission promotes the region for production of film, television shows and commercials.
McDonald's to open
CORTLAND -- A grand opening event will be at 10 a.m. Friday for a new McDonald's restaurant at 3629 state Route 5. Attending will be the owner, Herb Washington, who owns 21 area McDonald's restaurants, and local officials.
ISG reaches coke deals
RICHFIELD, Ohio -- International Steel Group Inc. has reached two agreements intended to secure long-term coke supplies to fuel its blast furnaces. ISG said Wednesday that it has signed a letter of intent for a 15-year deal with Sun Coke Co., and a 10-year agreement with EES Coke Battery. ISG also operates a coke plant in Warren.
Business expo
HERMITAGE, Pa. -- The Hermitage Business Association will hold a business expo from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at Shenango Valley Mall. Members will describe their products and answer questions.
