Co-owner of pot factory sentenced to prison



YOUNGSTOWN -- Robert L. Arroyo, 56, of 630 Marshall St. was sentenced Monday afternoon in U.S. District Court, Cleveland, to 41 months in prison for his part in a marijuana factory that operated out of a downtown warehouse.
Once out of prison, he will serve three years' supervised release. He will report to U.S. marshals Aug. 30 to begin his sentence.
Arroyo, owner of the B & amp;O Station Restaurant, 530 Mahoning Ave., once co-owned the warehouse at 814 Marshall St., where marijuana was being cultivated.
Arroyo and five others were indicted in March, charged with conspiracy to cultivate with intent to distribute marijuana and cultivating marijuana (in excess of 1,000 plants).
The case was investigated by the DEA with assistance of the bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and is being prosecuted by Linda H. Barr and Roger S. Bamberger, assistant U.S. attorneys.
