The Dangerfields are honored at surprise dinner

XBERLIN CENTER -- Mr. and Mrs. R. Tracy Dangerfield, 8811 S. Duck Creek Road, were guests of honor June 27 during a surprise buffet dinner at Timberlanes in Salem for the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary.
Hosts for the event were the honorees' daughter, Tracey Dangerfield of Austintown, their son and daughter-in-law, Brett and Marilyn Dangerfield of North Jackson, and two grandchildren.
The former Betty Warren and Mr. Dangerfield were married June 26, 1954, at First Friends Church in Salem.
Retiring in 1993, Mr. Dangerfield was employed for 31 years with Alliance Machine Co. He served with the U.S. Army and was stationed in Japan.
Mrs. Dangerfield is a homemaker.
