XCHICAGO -- Sarah E. Curtin, 2118 N. Seminary Ave., and Preston B. Tims, 2031 N. Kenmore Ave., exchanged marriage vows before the Rev. Thomas Hickey during a ceremony at 6:30 p.m. June 19 at St. Clement Church.
The daughter of James and A. Kathleen Curtin, 122 W. Third St., Hinsdale, Ill., and the son of Jay and Jane Tims, Kilmarnock, Va., formerly of Boardman, accepted congratulations during a reception at Germania Place.
The bride wore a white, satin gown fashioned with a chapel train and halter-style bodice and accented by seed pearls and crystals.
Honor attendants were Jane Kim and Sarah Keffer, both of Chicago. Bridesmaids were Cathleen Andes of Chicago and Kelly Curtin of New York, the bride's sisters, and Cameron Casey of Boston, sister of the groom. They wore sage-green dresses.
Sharing the duties of best man were David Hassey of Pittsburgh and D.J. Durkin of South Bend, Ind. Groomsmen were David Andes of Chicago, the bride's brother-in-law; Michael Casey of Boston, the groom's brother-in-law; and Timothy Curtin of Chicago, her brother.
The couple are making their home at 2737 N. Janssen Ave.
Mr. and Mrs. Tims graduated from Princeton University, Princeton, N.J., wth bachelor of arts degrees. She is employed as an investment associate with UBS Financial Services. He is employed as a fixed-income analyst at Merrill Lynch.
