Some have a beef againstbuffets for homeless
PITTSBURGH -- Some downtown Pittsburgh business owners are fed up with a student-run weekly buffet for the homeless, saying it is driving away patrons.
Students from Franciscan University in Steubenville, Ohio, have been feeding the poor and homeless every Thursday this summer in Market Square. Franciscan University has paid their $500 expenses for the project, which recently attracted 150.
Business owners say the project is driving suburbanites, tourists and other patrons away from their restaurants and stores.
