Kalischak 50th to be celebrated at reception

XBOARDMAN -- The 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore E. Kalischak, 4517 Green Glen Drive, will be celebrated Aug. 8 during a reception by invitation at Ciminero's Banquet Centre in Niles.
The couple will renew their marriage vows during a ceremony earlier that day at Sts. Cyril and Methodius Church in Youngstown. They also plan a trip to Las Vegas.
Hosting the party will be the honorees' children and spouses, Debbie and Bryan Olney of Austintown and Karen and David Brewer and Cathy and Joe Glista, all of Canfield, and seven grandchildren.
The former Catherine A. Leshnack and Mr. Kalischak exchanged marriage vows Aug. 7, 1954, at St. Cyril and Methodius Church. They are members of the church and belong to the Altar and Rosary Society and Infant Jesus of Prague Guild.
Mrs. Kalischak retired in 1977 from Cornersburg Italian Specialties, Youngstown, where she was a clerk. She also is a member of Catholic Ladies Slovak Guild.
Retiring in 1995, Mr. Kalischak was a superintendent at B & amp;B Construction Inc., Youngstown, where he worked for 33 years.
