AMANDA HAMMENTSSHAWN MARCELLO
XHUBBARD -- A reception at Candlelite Knolls in Bazetta followed the June 19 wedding of Amanda Lynn Hamments and Shawn V. Marcello. The couple were married at 1:30 p.m. that day at First Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Larry Stewart.
Parents of the bride are Art and Phyllis Kourian, 105 Grandview Ave., and Robert Hamments of Encino, Calif. Mr. Marcello is a son of Anthony and Cindy Marcello, 500 Elizabeth Way.
The couple honeymooned on a Caribbean cruise and are living at 50 Mock St.
A strapless A-line gown of white satin was worn by the bride. It was enhanced with two-tone embroidery and rhinestones.
Courtney Helmlinger, the bride's sister, was matron of honor, and bridesmaids were Sarah Kourian, another sister; Pamela Marcello, the groom's sister-in-law; Gina Swartz; Ann Morris; and Heather Marcello, his sister. They wore Victorian lilac gowns. His niece, Mackenzie Marcello, was flower girl.
Serving as best man was the groom's brother, Anthony Marcello, and groomsmen were Mark McAllen, Joe White, Brent Hughes, Ryan Ghizzoni and Eric Oltmann.
Mrs. Marcello holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and finance from Youngstown State University and is a staff accountant with JFS Wealth Advisors in Hermitage, Pa.
Her husband graduated from YSU with a bachelor's degree in education and will be teaching seventh-grade science in the Hubbard City School District beginning in August.
