The company is expected to begin work this summer to lay 21,500 feet of 8- and 12-inch sanitary lines along the following streets: Boyd, Diamond, Meek, Wheeler, Atlantic and Pacific streets; and Brightview, Gaylord, Grover, Kimberly, Linden and Owsley avenues; and a portion of Warren-Sharon Road.
Funding for the project comes from a variety of sources, including a $1.3 million bond issue.
County tax breaks
WARREN -- Trumbull County commissioners are planning to recommend revoking tax breaks to four companies that have not lived up to terms of enterprise zone agreements.
The county has active enterprise zone agreements with 84 companies.
The agreements require companies to expand operations or add employees in return for tax incentives.
Commissioners are expected to ask the Ohio Department of Development to terminate agreements with Interstate Processor Ltd. of Girard and MCI Corp. in Niles, which are no longer in operation; Android Industries in Vienna, which will close in November; and Henn Decorating of Lordstown, which has canceled a planned expansion.
Library air conditioning
WARREN -- The Warren-Trumbull County Public Library board will discuss replacing the main library air-conditioning system at a special meeting at 4 p.m. Friday.
Replacing all four rooftop units would cost an estimated $360,000, library spokeswoman Jan Vaughn said.
The board would probably have to borrow the money if it decides to replace the 30-year-old system, she said.
The system has been repaired a number of times and is struggling to keep the building cool, she said.
