Britt-Scott rite is planned for mid-September

XGIRARD -- Mr. and Mrs. Ronald E. Britt of Kline Street are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Colleen E. Britt of Tibaron Lane, Toledo, to Bernard J. Scott II of Hill Avenue, Toledo.
Mr. Scott is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard J. Scott of Cromwell Avenue, Cleveland.
The couple's open wedding will take place at 1:30 p.m. Sept. 18 at St. Charles Church in Boardman, and invitations will be extended for a reception to be held that evening at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Hall in Youngstown.
Miss Britt graduated from the University of Toledo with a bachelor's degree in communications. She is marketing director with Focus Credit Union in Toledo.
Her fiance holds a bachelor's degree in physical education from the University of Toledo, where he is employed as assistant coach for women's basketball.
