Charge pending

Charge pending
GIRARD -- A disorderly conduct charge is pending against the owner of a local bar after police said he was belligerent after an altercation at the business.
Chief Anthony Ross said the charges are expected to be filed today against one of the owners of Mikee's, though the man's name and information was not immediately available.
Reports say police were at the business to handle a large crowd that had gathered in front of the building around 2:30 a.m. Saturday. People in the crowd were shoving one another, and officers were forced to use pepper spray on at least four individuals, reports said.
During the incident, police noticed a motorcycle parked on the sidewalk and were advised it belonged to the owner, who was told to move it.
Police later observed the owner sitting on the motorcycle, and again advised him to move it. Reports indicate the man began yelling at officers and using profanity, arguing the motorcycle was parked on his property.
Officers began issuing a citation for disorderly conduct, but were forced to leave the area to respond as backup to a call in Niles.
Indecent exposure
NILES -- An Austintown woman was shopping with her daughter in Big Lots when the two were approached by a man exposing himself.
The 34-year-old woman told police she noticed the man follow her into the store on U.S. Route 422 at 5:15 p.m. Friday, and ran into him in several aisles as she and her daughter shopped.
While the woman was in the grocery aisle of the store, she saw the man exposing himself and asked him what he thought he was doing. Reports say the man fled from the store, and police were unable to locate him.
Gun threat
NILES -- A call of shots being fired in a business parking lot brought officers from two departments, but those questioned said they were only threatened with a gun.
Police received a call shortly after 2:30 a.m. Saturday that shots had been fired at McMenamy's and that a white Cadillac Escalade was involved somehow. Police from Niles and Girard tracked down the Escalade, but the group of people inside said that they were only threatened and that no shots were fired.
