XGIRARD -- Monsignor Martin Susko presided at 2 p.m. June 19 at St. Rose Church for the marriage ceremony of Molly Rafferty, daughter of Bill and Colleen Rafferty, 2574 Elm Drive, and Robert Mattson, son of Bill and Janet Mattson, 1204 Vine St.
A reception followed at St. Mary Assumption Social Center in Youngstown, and the couple honeymooned in St. Lucia. They live in Hiram, Ga.
The bride wore a strapless A-line gown enhanced with beaded embroidery along the neckline and accenting the chapel train.
Emily Kempe was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Haldre Rafferty, Erin Barnot, Tara Templemen, Jamie Baxter, Leah Rabinowitz, Meghan Haney, Ann McWilliams, Megan Charles, Shannon Davis, Elizabeth Reynolds and Emily Haught. They wore sage, silver and white gowns. Junior bridesmaids were Julianne Kempe and Kayla Walker, and flower girl was Anna Hayes.
Bill and John Mattson were best men, and groomsmen were Brian Rafferty, Ryan Barnot, Dave Nichols, Corey DeAngelis, Matt Leone, Shawn O'Connell, Dennis Vari, Jeff Doran, Donnie Snyder, Mark Jankowski, Joe Treveline and Rob Schaentzler. Nicholas Walker was ring bearer.
Mrs. Mattson graduated from Hiram College with a degree in elementary education and is a second-grade teacher with Cobb County Schools in Smyrna, Ga.
Her husband earned a degree in nutrition from Youngstown State University and is pursuing a doctor of chiropractic degree at Life University, Marietta, Ga.
