XYOUNGSTOWN -- Lindsey J. Goodman of Youngstown and Christopher Carmean of Pickerington were married at 4:30 p.m. June 26 at First Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Dr. Nicholas Mager and the Rev. William Woodman.
Their parents are Douglas R. and Jeanne D. Goodman of Youngstown and Dr. Silas E. and Jane Carmean of Mansfield.
The bride wore a strapless gown of ivory silk satin accented by hand beading.
Honor attendants were Sara Dysert and Sarah Graff. Bridal attendants were Cynthia Martin, Christopher Dorrance, Matthew Dorrance and Andrew Stubbs. The female attendants wore black dresses.
Best man was Robert Carmean. Groomsmen were David Carmean, John Carmean, Joseph Davis, Dennis Hoffmann and Shawn Galvin.
A reception was held at Tippecanoe Country Club, Canfield. The couple, who will honeymoon in August in Maui, Hawaii, live in Pickerington.
The bride, who is retaining her maiden name, earned a professional studies diploma at Manhattan School of Music. In flute performance, she has a bachelor's from Duquesne University and a master's from Northwestern University. She is a flutist with Pittsburgh New Music Ensemble and a free-lance flutist and teacher.
The groom earned bachelor's degrees in percussion performance and music education at Miami University and a master's at Duquesne. He is assistant band director and percussion instructor at Pickerington Local Schools.
