Grabowski's home run powers Plastics victory

WARREN -- John Grabowski's two-out, three-run walk-off homer powered Champion Molded Plastics to a 4-3 victory over MTC Knights in Warren Class AA baseball action.
Grabowski and Cedric Haynes had two hits each for the Plastics (23-1). Ben Barnett was the winning pitcher.
For the Knights (10-14), Torrie Frangiamore tripled and doubled. Matt Yartz doubled while Jeremy Krol took the pitching loss.

Mike McKee's three hits and three RBIs led Penn Ohio (15-8). Two of his hits were doubles.
Shawn Lucas, Chris Vingle and Glenn Morris had two hits and two RBIs apiece. Winning pitcher Steve Liebal struck out seven batters in six innings.
For Optimists (14-11), Steve Boxler took the mound loss. Boxler had two hits while Dave Miller doubled.

Frank Tempesta drove in three runs with two hits including a double for Lone Wolf (10-11).
Scott Brewster, Brian Smith and Jesse Andrews each had two hits. Adam Morgan drove in two runs while Smith and Kyle Irish doubled. Bob Bayus was the winning pitcher.
For Gibson (3-19), losing pitcher John Dominic doubled.
