SIGNS OF THE TIMES: The woods at Austintown Park, 6000 Kirk Road, will be the setting for a Log Cabin Day arts and craft show to be sponsored by Austintown Historical Society from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 31. One of the historic afghans to be sold for $45 at the event is displayed by, from left, Joyce Pogany, chairman, and Bev Myers and Mary Jane Miller, concessions co-chairmen. The event will feature music, a raffle and Chinese auction. Food, beverages and baked goods will also be sold, and there will be face painting. Admission to the handicapped-accessible event is $1.
