CLUBS
XThe eighth annual Gathering of the Irish Clans will take place beginning 6 p.m. Aug. 21 at the St. Maron's Pavilion and Recreation area, 1555 S. Meridian Road. This year's program will last two days. Aug. 21 will feature the Shaffer Brothers of Youngstown and the Wild Geese from Pittsburgh. Aug. 22 will begin with an open-air Mass at 11 a.m. and follows with a full day of Irish entertainment. The gates will open at 5 p.m. Aug. 21 and 10 a.m. Aug. 22. Admission is $5 for adults and children 12 and under are free.
XMahoning Valley Cribbage Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at St. James Church, 7640 Glenwood Ave., Boardman. All interested players are welcome. For more information call (330) 757-9503.

XDowntown Youngstown Kiwanis will meet at noon Friday at the YMCA. Art Cooksey will speak on "Then and Now," a historical program on Youngstown. Members are reminded to take baby items for the Priority One Project.

XHammond Organ Society of Greater Youngstown will hold its annual picnic at 5 p.m. Friday on the lawn at Cornerstone Presbyterian Church in Boardman. XTrumbull County Herb Society will have a picnic at Valley Lake Park at 6 p.m. Monday. Members are asked to take a dish for a potluck dinner and an item for a Chinese auction.
SUPPORT GROUPS
