XFAJARDO, Puerto Rico -- Carrie Lewis, daughter of Cliff and Cathy Lewis of Powell, formerly of Poland, became the bride of Todd Klingel, son of Roy and Joan Klingel of Marion, during a ceremony June 20 at Parque Las Palmas at Wyndham El Conquistador Resort and Spa.
The Rev. Benny Hopper officiated, and a reception was held at the cliff-top terrace of the resort. A postnuptial reception took place July 4 at the Franklin Park Conservatory in Columbus.
Following a honeymoon to Antigua, the newlyweds live in Dublin.
The bride's strapless gown was fashioned of ivory organza accented with blush flowers and beading.
Matron of honor was Crisi Acker, the bride's sister, and bridesmaids were Gina Klingel, the groom's sister; Barbara Olson; Sarah Payne; and Shannon Fry. They wore aloe-green gowns. Junior bridesmaid was Allie Ingram, the groom's cousin, and flower girl was the bride's niece, Julia Acker.
Travis Pinkstaff was best man, and groomsmen were Scott Gerfen, Randy Boyce, Dennis Johnson and the bride's brother-in-law, Jeff Acker.
Mrs. Klingel holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Dayton and is a management consultant with Navigator Management Partners in Columbus.
Her husband graduated from Ohio State University with a bachelor's degree in education. He is employed by The Quikrete Companies in Columbus as a district sales manager.
