XNORTH LIMA -- A reception at Mr. Anthony's in Boardman was held June 11 in honor of John D. Latell Jr. and his bride, the former Amanda K. Vickers, who were joined in marriage that day at 2:30 p.m. at Mount Olivet United Church of Christ.
The Rev. Melinda Lacefield officiated for the daughter of Dana and Jenny Vickers, 6353 W. Calla Road, Canfield, and the son of John and Marilyn Latell, 1712 Squaw Creek Drive, Girard.
The couple honeymooned at Riviera Maya, Mexico, and live in Girard.
Matron of honor was Melissa Ritterbeck. She wore wore a periwinkle gown, as did the bridesmaids, Natalie Toy, Tracey Toy, Jessie Clayton, Katie Hartwig and Jen Latell. Junior bridesmaids were Mary Grace Hannon and Casey Toy. Jessica and Samantha Dohy were flower girls.
Frank Platenak served as best man, and groomsmen were Randy Rair, Tod Latell, Mike Kay, Chris Migliozzi and Joe Warga. Ring bearer was Joseph Lafko, and ushers were Tom Strain, Joe Cappezzello and Woody Williams.
Mrs. Latell is pursuing a bachelor's degree in business administration at Youngstown State University and is employed as a server at Reserve Run Golf Course in Boardman.
Her husband holds a degree in education from the University of Findlay and is a special-education teacher with Girard City Schools.
