"Rocket Power" (8 p.m., Nickelodeon) offers a 90-minute premiere of "Island of the Menehune," in which the animated gang of extreme sportsters goes to Hawaii for vacation. They didn't expect a romance that leads to hurt feelings and an engagement, or a harrowing surfing outing at the famous Banzai Pipeline.
When Brittany (Danielle Panabaker) and Natasha (Brenda Song) find an item that belongs to a pop icon, they set out to return it to him. While tracking him down during this 90-minute movie, "Stuck in the Suburbs" (8 p.m., Disney) they discover his entire image is manufactured by his record label.
"Stargate Atlantis" (9 p.m., SciFi), the spinoff of the long-running sci-fi series "Stargate SG-1," follows a new team as its members enter an ancient city and find themselves stranded in an unexplored region of space. Using alien technologies found in Antarctic caverns, the team discovers the lost city of Atlantis in the distant Pegasus Galaxy. Richard Dean Anderson of "Stargate SG-1" guest stars in the two-hour premiere.
Yo! A new season of subversive comedy by the chameleonlike Sacha Baron Cohen begins next week. So HBO is giving viewers a chance to refresh their memories with six back-to-back episodes from last season in "Da Ali G Show" (10 p.m., HBO).
